Siwa Oasis Part 4

It was difficult capturing the scope of the desert, so I tried to choose pictures that did that somewhat, like this next one with the other jeep about to plunge down a massive sand dune. Inside that jeep were a bunch of Korean tourists. We know this because they said "Annyong" to our tour guide! True story.

Here is a fossilized fish. Weird to think that this all used to be underwater.

Finally, we headed over to one of the highest dunes to have tea and watch the sunset.

Wow... absolutely amazing photos, Jeff. It looks like you are having a great time :)

p.s. I loved the "anyong" side note. I hope that was an arrested development reference!

Yo, nice fossilized fish. But are you sure it was under water, and not just under a Long John Silvers?

@Huevan - thanks buddy, I am, and yes of COURSE it was an Arrested Development reference. COME ON!

@Eda - total chance, i think it was because I snapped it out of the window of the moving jeep. We'll have to wait to get those sweet $2000 f1.8 telephoto zooms to do the really cool DOF stuff

@Kool Mo-C - the Siwa Oasis appears to have survived the scourge of fast food joints, so im going to go out on a limb and say no, it wasn't under a Long John Silvers
